PUERTO VIEJO

How to get there:
The access is by the south Panamericana highway, by milometer 71. There are signs to enter and you must follow a path to the sea, west direction, for a few kilometers. The point is a key full of sea birds.

The waves:
It is a left wave that is usually better with big swells, when Punta Hermosa and nearby spots are not good. Especially good when there is wind with south direction, since the rock in the point protects the wave. It has better waves during the winter. It receives swells up to 2 meter and a half, and it works better with low tide. When it has good conditions you can ride a wave of 200 meters. To enter the water, walk very close to the key.

Where to stay:
We recommend you to stay in San Bartolo.

Where to eat:
There are some small posts on the beach, but we recommend you to have food in Rocio, in San Bartolo.
